SERVICES

The Institute publishes GIHR News three times during each year and, the GIHR HISTORICAL JOURNAL.   It also publishes CLEO, a women's history magazine, works of reference and, undertakes a number of research projects.

As part of its public events programme, the Institute holds exhibitions.

PROJECTS

We worked with the Documentation Centre of the Ministry of Labour, Human Resources and, Social Security to produce a 'Catalogue of Women Parliamentarians'; Parliamentary library to produce  quick reference tool on the Ministers of the Government of Guyana: 1953- 2012.  The Institute is also represented on the Ministry of Culture, Youth and, Sports Mashramani Literary Street fair, Guyana Chapter of the Reparations committee and, the Guyana National Coouncil on Public Policy.

CLIENTS

We have worked with a variety of businesses varying from non-profit to corporate, as well as persons in education at all levels . Although our focus is to promote historical studies at the post-graduate level, we recognize the importance of exposing our children to history at an early age...
